Overview

Our final project for the Introduction to Digital Media in Education class was to design and develop an interactive, yet concise learning program using Rise 360. Inspired by what defines them as a business, I decided to create my learning program for TOMS’s consumers who are interested in natural products. As part of the project guidelines, we were asked to use media directly from TOMS impact report and website.

Design and Considerations

Following are the design considerations that I took during the development process:

  • The program follows the organization’s style guide.

  • It leverages different media (e.g., text, images, videos) towards a meaningful learning experience.
Adobe Photoshop was used to edit media.

  • The program is well-structured and the interface should be interactive and engaging.

  • To apply suitable best practices and theories in digital design and development.

  • To provide learners with opportunities to reinforce and assess learning.

  • To get feedback from learners and create a bond with consumers to stay connected.

Storyboard

As a stepping stone towards the learning program, we were required to submit a storyboard that lays out a concrete plan for the final program. The storyboard consists of learning objectives, style guide, media, and the overall structure/design of the learning program.
